TH-30 Thermoclosing valve

Installation

The valve housing is fitted with an internal spiral tube fitting. The valve can be unscrewed on both sides after installation. The operability of the valve does not depend on its installation position. One must make sure that the heat collector (boarded) must not be interferred with other devices or its own pipe system, thus allowing it to gain heat in case of fire. When installing the valve the stream direction noted on the valve must be same with true stream direction.

Operation

The thermoclosing valve does not require operation, but the boarded heat collector must be kept from dirt.

The closing temperature can be tailored according to client demands to any of the following temperatures: 70, or 110, or 160°C

Application

To reduce fire hazard, when flowing hazardous liquids one must install a thermoclosing valve to reduce chance of explosion. The valve must be mounted to a point in the system where it is most prominent in case of fire. The nominal closing temperature of the valve must be at 15 to 40°C degrees above maximum generic temperature of usage.

Design

The valve casing is made of brass, paddings are made of red copper or aluminum.The melting pad is made of low melting metal according to MSZ 2678 restriction. The rest of the parts - excluding the spring - are made of yellow copper. The design keeps to MSZ 15659/3 standard restrictions.
